New exhibition at Museum of Oxford

Come along to the Museum of Oxford to check out a new temporary exhibition, 'Our Oxford: 50 Years, 50 Stories'. To mark MOX’s 50th year, the museum team have been working with Oxford’s communities to share 50 new stories about the amazing heritage of the city.

Spotlighting community groups, volunteers, change-makers and artists across the city, the exhibition is a community-woven archive representing Oxford in 2025. It features collaborative artworks, community-collected objects, oral histories, and personal labels. The exhibition is evolving throughout 2025 as MOX gather new stories, reflecting Oxford’s patchwork nature and opening it up to new perspectives. Keep your eyes peeled for new stories appearing throughout the year, explore the diverse and vibrant fabric of the city, and share your own memories. The team can’t wait to welcome you to MOX on this special year, and to learn what Oxford is to you!
